Side Quest Clubhouse is an exposure program geared towards giving community children who have less access to clubs and programs a greater insight into the industry. The program is an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the career paths and options that are available in the gaming industry.
The Clubhouse program is also designed to provide participants with access to an industry they love and are connected to but may not be aware of the future opportunities available.
The program exposes participants to the many areas of the industry. While strengthening core skills in a (1) hour per week peer-to-peer environment. Skills that include reading, writing, comprehension, research, analytics, math, drawing, editing, communication and team building. All the skills that are exercised while working together on their edition of Side Quest Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse program was developed as an after-school or six-week summer exposure program. Participating students discuss and use their interest to contribute to creating their very own Clubhouse special edition issue of Side Quest Magazine that is published online at www.sidequestmagazine.com
